CrossCountry Consulting Gives Back in 2020

As part of a continuing effort to support its local communities and customers throughout the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, CrossCountry Consulting has provided significant financial contributions throughout the year to a number of diverse organizations that target various aspects of humanitarian and philanthropic work.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted individuals and communities nationwide; the rise in family traumas and the need for food assistance reached unprecedented levels, resulting in an increased demand for support from charitable organizations. Because of their commitment to creating better communities and investing in the causes that are important to their employees, CrossCountry was able to provide support to a variety of organizations, including:

  • A private non-profit that works on behalf of children engaged with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, Wonderfund provides comfort and dignity to children in traumatic situations and enrich childhoods that have been impacted by abuse and neglect. Donations provides kids enrichment activities and programs such as arts and music, academics, athletics, and a variety of camps (such as sailing, swimming, soccer, hiking, etc.).
  • SOME (So Others Might Eat), a community-based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless of our nation’s capital, meetings the immediate daily needs of the people they serve with food, clothing, and healthcare. By offering services such as affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment and counseling, they help to break the cycle of homelessness.
  • Working out of Arlington, VA, AFAC (Arlington Food Assistance Center) remains dedicated to its critical mission of obtaining and distributing nutritious groceries, directly and free of charge, to the people living in that community who cannot afford to purchase enough to meet their basic needs. They buy meats, milk, eggs, and other fresh items so that families, especially mothers and babies, can get the nutrition they need every week.

CrossCountry remains dedicated to supporting their communities nationwide in 2021 and beyond.
